It’s that time of year! This year, help support your community by joining us for our Reverse Advent Calendar. Every day from now till Christmas, we will announce an item that is needed at your local foodbank. We ask that when you are shopping this holiday season, please keep these items in mind and add them to your cart to donate. Any food donations for our location can be dropped off in the donation bins by the office door on Queenston Rd.
Not in Cambridge? That’s okay! Find a foodbank near you or look to see what’s needed in your area. We would love for everyone around the world who follows our page to find ways to give back to their community this Christmas.
If you aren’t able to donate these items or are looking for other ways to help:
1. Donate to St. John’s and specify that the money is for Foodbank. 100% of your donation will go to purchasing needed items at the St John’s Cambridge Foodbank. We ask that cash donations are either donated in person, call 519-651-7022 to arrange at time, or online on our Canada Helps page, and use the pulldown menu to specify Foodbank. Please do not leave any cash or cheque donations in the mailbox!

2. Donate to the foodbank directly Cambridge Food Bank
3. Donate other needed items like: Feminine hygiene products, diapers, socks (all sizes), personal care items, etc.
4. St John’s also takes donations of gently used winter coats, hats, gloves, boots etc. for children and adults, and makes them available to our Foodbank clients.
