Angel Tree Christmas

For most children, Christmas means family togetherness and the magic of receiving a treasured gift. But for children with a parent in prison, the season can bring the hurtful reminder of loss and the fear of being forgotten. The sad reality is that in any given year there are over 357,000 children in Canada experiencing the stigma and pain of being separated from a parent in prison. What if one simple action could help transform this pain into a lasting connection between a child and their parent

At Angel Tree Christmas, we help restore a child’s Christmas joy through a simple, yet powerful act of love: a Christmas gift sent on behalf of the parent to the child. It’s more than just a giftit’s a reminder to both the child and parent that they are surrounded by the warmth of God’s grace and never forgotten

The Angel Tree Christmas program connects church communities and individuals with the families of prisoners through the delivery of a special Christmas gift and personalized message on behalf of the incarcerated parent

Last year a record 3,648 children (1700+ families) participated in the program. So this Christmas, more than ever, we need your help to share Jesusenduring love with families impacted by incarceration in your local community.
