Getting married may be one of the most important decisions two people will make. At St. John’s, we recognize that every couple is unique. We welcome all denominations and members of the
LGBTQIA2S+ community to receive the sacrament of Holy Matrimony.
We are able to accommodate small or large weddings both in the church and in our private backyard garden. Let our music ministry and worship teams help make your special day memorable.
St. John’s provides a traditional church setting for a wedding, which includes the use of our magnificent Casavant pipe organ and grand piano. We can help arrange other instrumentation as required and encourage the participation of loved ones in the ceremony.
There are fees for the organist, altar guild, priest and for the use of the church. As well, our altar guild can oversee arrangements for flower placements and other decorations to make the ceremony
uniquely personal.
Since the wedding is a Christian service, St. John’s requires one member of the union to be baptized into a Christian denomination. However, this baptism does not need to have been done in an Anglican
church.
We know planning a wedding is stressful and we want to make your day as worry free as possible!
